What is addiction? And why it is hard to stop nicotine smoking?

Addiction is the loss of control when you are using a drug. Nicotine is the substance in your cigarette which causes you to be addicted to it, and when a person smokes, nicotine gets into his brain as quickly after every puff, and cigarettes companies plays with nicotine levels in each cigarette to make more smokers in this world, and more money for them of course.
It is hard to stop smoking, when you are in the middle of the addiction, and there are main three factors which you may know before starting your plan to quit. Emotional, behavioral and the physical reason. 

The emotional reason:  is about your feeling when you are enjoying a cigarette and what are you really thinking about it and what are your beliefs about using it.

The behavioral reason: is about your action and respond towards the time you feel that you want to smoke and your respond towards the places too; like if you enter to a bar and instantly think about a cigarette as a respond to your existence in this place.

The physical reason: is about your body needing nicotine contains in tobacco.

And the smoker lives in a vicious cycle which is represented down in this diagram.

Every smoker should think about his health and must know that is the best to do for him and his family too. These four practices are based on 25 years of search and they have helped thousands of people to quit for life.

Smoking killed and still killing people all over the world, more than many disasters, illnesses and other addictions like alcohol and even more than all traffic accidents, all combined together. This killing addiction, causes, for sure, big health issues such as cancers, breathing issues, dental illnesses, heart attacks, and even sex and reproductive problems, and also bone and skin problems. The list is limitless, as the science discovers, everyday, new problems caused by smoking.



Secondhand smoke, which refers to breathing smoke from a burning cigarette, of a friend or a member of the family, harms deeply the health of others, and statistics mentioned that more than 50000 people die each year, due to this so called secondhand smoke, as well.

 Is Secondhand Smoke a Real Problem?

People having breathing problems, heart issues or even children, are the most in danger, when we talk about secondhand smoke, which had really dangerous chemicals and poisons in it; it can cause, for the others in no time, heart problems, blood vessel problems and many other diseases.

You may know that children exposed to your smoke, are 3 times likely to die from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS), because of your smoking, babies and children are more likely to get ear infections, asthma, bronchitis, pneumonia, and other lung infections.
And the worst is, these children are more likely to be smokers, them selves, in the future.

 How can I protect myself and others from secondhand smoke?

 - make the places around you smoke free.
 - Ask smokers not to smoke in your place or around you and your children.
 - Ask your work boss to ban smoking inside the work place.
 - Stay away you and your children from places where smoking is allowed.

And if you are still smoking, and waiting to get to the quitting for good, please smoke outside and away from others.

Fighting Nicotine Smoking

Hello friends, this is the first post on this blog, and I hope it will give us, more energy to come with really useful and valuable content, concerning the issue, we are building this blog for, which is How to stop nicotine smoking for good.
We all know that nicotine smoking, is a real nightmare, and everyone who is, actually a smoker, should accept that he/she is living with a killing addiction, which should be stopped very sooner. We always get great results for our problem, first when we accept that we are actually concerned, and we have serious problem with it, in our lives. This should be the first step in this journey, which will end up, GOD WILLING, by stopping smoking.
We will come up with ideas to help each others, to keep smoking away from our life, and the lives of our beloved families and friends. Every positive experience, from former smokers, is always welcome, and this place is for sharing such useful things, and of course, from our side, we will walk you step by step through sure paths to set your self free from addiction.
There are tons of ideas to experience, and they are not all suitable for everyone, but some of them will bring great results for some of us, and everyone should be serious and have a strong will power to try till he/she will get the ultimate result.

Why we should quit today before tomorrow? 

 

It's not a rocket science, it's obvious that smoking is a sure enemy and a killer, and millions of people in United States and every where in this planet, die because of cigarettes, every year. But addiction make people, continue till they end their precious lives. Why? because, they didn't had enough will power, they didn't had friends supports, or simply because they didn't want to accept that they are living in big trouble.

What a person should be to succeed in quitting smoking for good?

 

Every one of us, chain or casual smoker should :
  • Be brave enough to accept that he / she is in real addiction.
  • Have enough will power to quit sooner.
  • Accept that the journey could take a small or a long time.
  • Not give up quickly.
  • Accept any advice and take it for serious, to experiment what others did to get real results.
  • Give us a feed back, to know deeply the situation.
Anyway, we are only in our first step, and we will try to work hard to get into every details in the future.
